Sustainability and environment plan

1. Mentor Club appoints an environmental manager annually, who updates or revises the environmental plan for the season as needed. The board approves the plan and makes it available to members on the Mentor Club website.

2. Mentor Club does not have its own organizational premises, so all events are held in the premises of other organizations. Events are held in premises that are easily accessible by foot, bike, or public transportation. Events aim to utilize the dishes already available in the premises or catering services that provide dishes. Single-use dishes are not used at events unless there is no other option. Waste generated at events is recycled to the extent possible in the premises.

3. Food is purchased for events as needed and any leftover food is shared with participants or used in subsequent events. When making purchases for events, reusable bags are used and the amount of packaging materials is minimized. Domestic, plant-based food is preferred in the offerings and care is taken to ensure the availability of high-quality vegan options.

4. Mentor Club strives to avoid unnecessary purchases in its operations and to reuse materials such as marketing materials. It is therefore good to invest in sustainable purchases and store them properly for maximum lifespan. Documents are not printed unnecessarily and electronic solutions are sought for signing and storing documents.
